Dr. David Amaro-Driedger, MD
Dr. David Amaro-Driedger, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He provides comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based medical opinions grounded in current medical literature, clinical experience, and a detailed review of medical records. A native of Tyler, Texas, Dr. Amaro-Driedger graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston before completing a four-year residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky. During residency, he achieved scores in the top 10% nationally on the American Board of Anesthesiology Basic Examination. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, receiving advanced subspecialty training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. Dr. Amaro-Driedger is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. His clinical practice encompasses the evaluation and management of complex pain disorders using a multidisciplinary approach that includes interventional procedures, medication management, and rehabilitation strategies. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Amaro-Driedger has contributed to the peer-reviewed medical literature through publications involving regional anesthesia and complex pain management, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based medicine and academic scholarship. Justin Henne, MSN, FNP-C
Veteran Nexus & DBQ Services
Justin Henne, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, U.S. Army disabled veteran, and healthcare professional with more than 16 years of experience in the medical field. With over 10 years of specialized experience in interventional pain management, Justin brings extensive clinical knowledge of complex musculoskeletal, spinal, neurological, and chronic pain conditions to his work with fellow veterans.
Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), with advanced training as a Nurse Practitioner, from Texas A&M University in College Station.
As both a medical provider and disabled Army veteran, Justin understands the challenges veterans may encounter when attempting to clearly document their medical conditions and navigate the VA disability claims process. His mission is to provide veterans with professional, independent, and evidence-based medical evaluations that accurately communicate the medical evidence supporting their claims.
Veteran-Focused Nexus Letters & DBQ Services
Justin provides comprehensive medical record reviews, independent clinical evaluations, medical nexus opinions, and Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) services when appropriate. Each evaluation is individualized and based upon the veteran's medical history, military service history, relevant exposures or occupational demands, diagnostic studies, treatment records, physical findings when applicable, and current medical literature.
His clinical background in interventional pain management provides particular expertise in evaluating conditions involving the cervical and lumbar spine, degenerative disc and joint disease, radiculopathy, peripheral joint conditions, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal and neurological disorders commonly encountered among veterans.
When supported by the medical evidence, nexus opinions clearly address the relationship between a veteran's diagnosed condition and military service using appropriate medical reasoning and VA-relevant standards, including whether a condition is “at least as likely as not” related to service. Evaluations may also address secondary conditions and aggravation when clinically appropriate.
